Don't give up...sigue esperando!!!

Seemed that this November would have been sunny...but just today opening the window here is a grey sky...raining a bit..and so I think about one of the great song ever written...

Maybe you already understand what track I'm talking about, maybe not.

Its author wrote as follow: "is a song about not wanting to be in a state of having to deal with unrequited love".

The emotional intensity of the lyrics combines beautifully with the soaring melodies to take the listener on a journey from despair into hope.

Ja!!!The everlasting struggle of people that having lost someone try to forget and go on...

For a while I've listened every day this song and every day I thought to a good friend...I remember that in a rainy day he wrote me a text: "Can you listen this song with me even if we're distant, pls? It's so romantic and maybe listening it together can make us so closely!"

Well...Maybe it's better to back to the song...

The central message, I think is expressed in these words: "It's hard to hold a candle, in the cold November rain". Here, hold the candle means he's trying to hold his love for her, while the cold November rain is the absence of her love. It is difficult to love someone who doesn't return the feeling. And maybe also his love will die, just as the candle will be extinguished by the rain. He doesn't want this happen, but eventually it will, unless she can recover her love. It's the reason why he says "We still can find a way 'cause nothin' lasts forever even cold November rain", here is his hope. In that moment, he inverts the previous metaphor. Infact, just as earlier he said that love doesn't last forever, now he reminds us that if love doesn't last forever, neither does the absence of love. This unrequited love will pass and the relationship will bloom again.
